International policymakers supported the signing of the Peace Accords in 2016, and they are needed now to maintain the promises of peace.

The Colombian government has the roadmap to end impunity, increase protections, and support the work of social leaders. The international community—including the U.S. Congress, the European Union, the United Nations, civil society groups and press—must actively engage the Colombian government to uphold their promise.
